Every other Sunday for the last few years local activists and film enthusiasts have been putting on a film day at Next to Nowhere social centre on Bold Street. Originally this event was held at the Casa on hope street in the evenings but poor turnouts and hectic schedules meant it was moved to its current location and time. The films tend to be experimental or political in nature and while the films are free to watch, some soup and cakes are available by donation. It is a great opportunity to meet people enthused by films and political events.
